SA Bodyguard Association regulates it's members in the industry by means of a licensing system - Registration and licensing with SABA is not compulsory in terms of the PSIRA Act  ( Act 56 of 2001)

 

They are the international version of SABA, if you need to operate internationally they can assist you. You can register with them to be put on the international database for bodyguards. The representative for the IACPO in South Africa is also the founder of SABA. (International Association For Close Protection Operatives )
